PISTOL DUELS

PRIVACY POLICY

pistolduels.com is the website for Pistol Duels, a Roblox experience made by LOCKED N' LOADED ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the site collects, why, how long we keep it and what you can do about it. It covers the website only. The game runs on Roblox, and Roblox's own privacy policy covers your Roblox account.

THE SHORT VERSION

  • If you sign in with Roblox, we keep your Roblox user ID, username, display name and avatar link for up to 30 days.
  • We never see your Roblox password, email address, phone number or real name.
  • We don't use ads, analytics or tracking cookies, and we don't sell data.
  • Email support@pistolduels.com to see or delete what we hold about you.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you sign in with Roblox

Signing in happens on Roblox's own sign-in page. With the permissions you approve there, Roblox sends us your:

  • Roblox user ID;
  • username;
  • display name;
  • avatar picture link.

We also look up your rank in the LOCKED N' LOADED Roblox group, which decides which parts of the site you can use, such as staff tools. We don't receive your password, email address, phone number, real name or age.

Game and market information

The site shows information from the game: items, their prices and value, copies, listings and sales. It doesn't show who listed, sold or bought an item.

Moderation information

Game staff can use the site to look up a player's Roblox profile and moderation history, to enforce the game's rules. Only staff can see this, and the site reads it from Roblox each time instead of keeping a copy.

Technical information

Like any website, the site receives your IP address and browser details with each request. We use your IP address to limit how fast one visitor can load pages, which protects the site from attacks, and we don't store it. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, keeps technical logs for a few days to run and protect it.

HOW WE USE INFORMATION

  • To keep you signed in and show who you're signed in as.
  • To decide which parts of the site you can use.
  • To show the game's items and market data.
  • To protect the site from abuse and attacks.
  • To answer you when you contact us.

We don't use your information for advertising or profiling.

SIGNING IN AND ROBLOX ACCESS

We ask Roblox only for your basic profile. When you sign in, Roblox gives the site access keys. We read your profile, cancel the key that could be reused, and store none of them, so the site can't act on your Roblox account after you've signed in.

COOKIES AND BROWSER STORAGE

  • A cookie that keeps you signed in, for up to 30 days.
  • A cookie that protects the sign-in step, for up to 10 minutes.
  • Your light or dark theme choice, saved in your browser.

Both cookies are needed for signing in. We don't use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies.

WHAT OTHER PEOPLE CAN SEE

Nothing you do on the site is shown to other visitors. If we add public features such as profiles or trade ads, we'll update this policy before they launch.

WHO WE SHARE IT WITH

  • Roblox provides sign-in and the game's data. Avatar pictures load from Roblox's servers, so Roblox sees those requests.
  • Cloudflare hosts the site and handles our email.

We don't sell, rent or trade personal information. We'd share it with anyone else only if the law requires it.

HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

  • Your sign-in: until you sign out, or 30 days at most.
  • The sign-in step: 10 minutes at most.
  • Hosting logs: a few days, at Cloudflare.
  • Emails you send us: as long as we need them to answer you.

DELETING YOUR DATA

  • Sign out to delete your sign-in straight away.
  • Remove the site from the apps your Roblox account has authorized, in your Roblox account settings.
  • Email support@pistolduels.com and we'll delete anything else we hold about you.

CHILDREN

Many Roblox players are under 18. The site only receives what's listed above, and none of it identifies you outside Roblox. We don't knowingly collect more from anyone. A parent or guardian can email support@pistolduels.com to have a child's data deleted.

SECURITY

The site only works over HTTPS. Sign-in keys are stored scrambled, so a copy of our database couldn't be used to sign in as you. Only the people who run the site can reach its data.

YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to how we use it. Email support@pistolduels.com and we'll reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

When this policy changes, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top. Our Terms of Service cover the rest of how the site may be used.
